Sweet Home Tama

I am a professor of Coastal and Ocean Engineering in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Tokyo Metropolitan University.

My research interests include nonlinear wave theories, internal waves, sediment-laden flow, and turbulence in wave and current fields. I am particularly interested in the behavior of the Eulerian-mean flow change due to interaction between waves and a current.

My paper was selected as one of the 100 top papers among all papers published by Springer in 2015 as a ground-breaking paper that could help humanity and protect and preserve our planet. Please visit Springer Nature and Must-Read Articles From 2015.

My name is Tama as I prowl around the TMU campus in Tama district.
My owner is a professor of TMU. But he is not like a teacher at all.
