Scope of the symposium Invited Speaker Topics Submission Program  Registration Committee Contact

Scope of the symposium

APSPT seeks to promote fundamental and applied plasma research for scientists and engineers from academic and industrial institutions, particularly, in Asia-Pacific area. The symposium addresses the status of cross link between plasma science and technology for industrial applications, also opens to all people from different areas to participate via presentations and discussions.

Aiming to be an interdisciplinary symposium, this symposium has originated from the "Japanese Symposium on Plasma Chemistry" since1988 to celebrate the 8th International Symposium on Plasma Chemistry (ISPC8) held in Tokyo, Japan, in 1987. Moreover, since 1993, the symposium's name has been changed to "Symposium on Plasma Science for Materials" to expand and activate the international interdisciplinary field in both basic science and practical applications based on Materials Science. We welcome various presentations to explore a new frontier of Plasma Materials Science. Proceedings are to be published in a special issue of an English Journal.
