We started the service for TNT by anonymous ftp on 21 September 1992. Our motivation was to share tools (programs and computed data) on number theory widely through network. We have been distributing such tools for a quater of century by ftp and/or www service. Nowadays, we are able to get such tools more easily from several sorts of public databases. Therefore this private server seems to end the role and it will be time to close this.
Thank you very much for all contributors and users of TNT. Some individual tools will be restored here in the near future.
