Tephra conference in 2018: “Tephra Hunt in Transylvania ‒ Crossing New Frontiers: Braşov, Romania, 25-29 June 2018 UPDATE 20 December 2017
Daniel Veres and his local committee, together with the INTAV executive, are working on details for this important meeting next year 25-29 June 2018 to be held near Braşov, Transylvania, Romania. Announcements about the venue, registration, programme, field trips, and costs (etc) are coming soon. Meanwhile, please think about your possible contributions, and those of your students, and make plans to participate in what promises to be a stimulating and interesting conference with a theme “Crossing New Frontiers”. We strongly encourage ECRs and students to seek support to attend because the conference, the first full specialist tephra meeting since 2010, will provide a great opportunity to meet a range of active tephrochronologists of all ages from all corners of the globe.
